This current scheme involves the refurbishment and rear extension of an existing five storey, Grade II listed, Georgian terraced property with retail accommodation on the lower floors and residential above.
It has required a light touch with respect to retaining existing fixtures. Repair works have been carried out to the existing building fabric with the emphasis on preservation as opposed to replacement.
The basement extension works have been carefully detailed to avoid undermining the adjacent properties.
Discreet strengthening works have been carried out to the main timber bressumer beam on the front elevation to extend its life
