Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior CAD Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work with our team of engineers to produce high-quality drawings for architecturally led projects. You will collaborate closely with our engineers to ensure that your drawings accurately reflect the structural design and that they meet all necessary specifications and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate and detailed drawings using AutoCAD software
- Work collaboratively with our senior CAD technician & team of engineers to ensure that drawings are accurate and meet all necessary specifications and standards
- Produce drawings for a variety of architecturally led projects, including commercial new builds, historic building restorations, domestic remodelling, bespoke structures, and more
- Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure that drawings meet their needs and requirements
- Continuously improve your skills and knowledge of AutoCAD and other drafting software
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or certificate in CAD technology, drafting, or related field
- At least 1 years of experience as a draftsman or CAD technician in a civil or structural engineering context
- Proficient in AutoCAD software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of engineers and other stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A portfolio of relevant work is desirable but not essential

You will be responsible for collaborating on a diverse range of exciting projects, ranging from Grade I* listed refurbishments to modern new builds, in our large London-based open-plan studio. - Excellent attention to detail, with good sketching ability
