A three storey house with a basement has been constructed on a tight 29m x 4m urban site. Micro-piling has been used to form thin basement walls. These were used to resist both temporary and permanent loads.
The ground floor construction acts as a prop to the head of the retaining walls. Lightweight Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) form the upper two storeys.
An elegant steel and glass staircase forms the centre piece of the new property.
